The Floral Banners were my first needleturn hand appliqué project. Have I mentioned that I don’t believe in starting slowly? I prefer to jump right in and figure it out as I go along. I know that if I start with an easy practice project, my heart will not be in it and I will very likely get bored. This looked like a nice block of the month project, and I even managed to finish the triangle blocks in addition to making one block per month. All four banners were finished “as scheduled”, and I still like the seasonal flower block designs very much.
