I offered to quilt a few quilt tops for my friend Sharon to get them ready for the October quilt show, which took place last weekend. Here is the first one, an adorable fall scene with pumpkins, mushrooms and woodland animals.
It was so much fun to come up with quilting that adds texture to the different elements. Adding texture is one of my favourite parts of quilting, because the ideas seem to come on their own, and it is so satisfying when the bark ends up looking like bark and the pumpkins look like pumpkins.
