I made another donation quilt using the alternating square/framed square layout that I discovered last year. My scrap drawers were overflowing, and I needed a pattern that used different scrap sizes than I normally use for my Renate’s Scrap Quilt projects. This one made a nice dent in my 3.5″ and 5.5″ drawers. Not that they are anywhere close to empty, but it is a start.
For quilting, I used an allover pattern by Christy Dillon called “Sorcha’s Flowers”. For scrappy quilts like this, the quilting pattern doesn’t matter all that much, so I usually just go with what catches my eye.

Great idea Beatrice 🙂
A fun way to enjoy all the differnt fabrics in one place 🙂
