Darlene is the “Bargello Queen” among my customers, and whenever she ventures out of her Bargello comfort zone, she comes up with another amazing quilt like this one. Isn’t it just fabulous? This modern quilt needed a modern quilting pattern, and all those circles were asking for something not too curvy. “Ripples on Point” with its soft, wavy lines creates a great secondary pattern of squares on point and was just perfect for Darlene’s project.






Beautiful. Did she use a panel in the middle or piece all those little pieces to make the buildings?
That’s a panel. I couldn’t even imagine piecing that.
The quilting “mimics” the buildings. Very cool!
