Flannel Rail Fence

And here we have another Rail Fence quilt, made by a different Mary. Sometimes it is funny how these end up in my queue next to each other. This one was made from cozy flannels and is a gift for Mary’s grandson. The pantograph is called “Overlapping Crop Circles”, and I love how it creates movement across the quilt.

That looks great! Do you use digital or paper? I like Urban Elementz, and that most designs are offered both ways, because I didn’t opt for the digital function on my machine – more money than I felt like I could spend!

I used paper for the first three years or so. I always had my eye on IntelliQuilter but couldn’t justify the cost either. But after doing the same pantos over and over again for eight hours a day week after week, I just couldn’t stand it anymore. I was bored out of my mind, and I was lucky enough that my mom helped me a bit, and I added IQ to my machine. I bough my pantos from Jessica Schick at first, and after she merged her business with Urban Elementz, I followed her there. With digital, there are lots of sites available but I also spend much more money on pantos because they are so readily available.
