Tuxedo Cats BOM – Block #10
October is quilt show month in Chilliwack which means I am super busy again. I didn’t do much in September, my mom was visiting from Germany, and it was her first visit to North America. We took her on a nice trip down to Seattle, Mount Rainier and the Olympic Peninsula, then took the ferry back to Vancouver Island and spent a few days there. Then I dragged her with me to quilt guild meetings and square dancing, and we also went up to Kelowna where our son is going to school at UBC Okanagan. We had a few very rainy days but overall we were lucky with the weather… a week later, and there would have been snow on the Coquihalla (that’s the Highway Thru Hell, if you are familiar with the TV show). We had a great time, and after she left I discovered that I had nothing left to do for this month’s BOM pattern other than write this post. Looks like I was well organized ahead of time, and I don’t even remember 🙂 As always, the pattern will be available for free download until the end of the month and move over to the store section when the November block is published.
EDIT: The November block has been published, and October’s kitty moved over to the store. It is now available for purchase if you missed the free download.

These kitties are very cute!
Thank you, Brenda. I think it is obvious that I miss having cats 🙂
Thank you for another cute cat. I always like watching them wash their face.
You are welcome, Susan. Yes, I do too, that’s so cute.
He is adorable. Thank you so much for doing this.
You are welcome, Maryalis, enjoy.
The cats are great and I want to use them to make for my granddaughter who loves cats. Have been searching everywhere for the background fabric you used but it must be out of print. Love it, too.
Maybe you can find a WOW with a paw print? That’s probably more common and would work well too.
Thank you. I checked those, too, but only found black backgrounds. Will keep looking.
Sweet! Thank you for another adorable cat pattern.
You are very welcome, Sharon.
Thank you for this pattern, I look forward to each months block.
You are welcome, Valerie, I am glad you like them.
how nice your mother was with you.
It was very nice, I have been trying to talk her into coming for years 🙂 Thanks for stopping by, Jolie.
